Logo design: A mark of your own.

A useful logo has character and holds together in everyday use. We develop a distinctive mark, then work through the sizes, colourways and settings it needs to handle.

What we can help with

A mark
worth keeping.

A good fit when…

You are starting a business, changing direction or replacing a mark that no longer fits.

What’s included

  • Logo concepts and refinement
  • Wordmark and symbol development
  • Small-size and single-colour variants
  • Vector masters and usage guidance

What our logo design services actually deliver

A mark that survives being small

Most logos are judged at the wrong size. We draw ours at full scale and then check them at a browser favicon's 16 by 16 pixels and a mobile app icon's smaller sizes, because that is where the fine detail of a mark actually fails — thin strokes close up, small gaps fill in, and a wordmark that reads fine at business-card size turns to mush in a tab. If it does not hold up that small, we redraw it rather than shrink it and hope.

Built as vector from the first sketch

Every mark is constructed as scalable vector geometry, not a traced bitmap, so it can be reproduced from a favicon to a van livery without a loss of quality at any point along the way. We deliver the vector masters alongside the flattened exports, so a printer or a sign-writer years from now has the real file to work from.

Working in one colour before it works in three

A mark that only reads correctly in its full colour combination will fail the first time it is embossed, stamped, faxed or printed on a branded pen. We test every design in single colour and reversed-out white before the colour version is signed off, and we check the finished mark against the same accessible-contrast bar we use for the rest of a brand identity, using WCAG's non-text contrast guidance as the floor rather than the target.

What the finished set includes

  • Primary mark, wordmark-only and symbol-only variants
  • Single-colour, reversed and favicon-scale versions, tested not assumed
  • Vector masters (SVG/EPS) plus flattened exports at common sizes
  • A short usage note: clear space, minimum size, what not to do to it

Our logo design services end with a working file set, because a mark that only exists at one size and in one format isn't finished, however good it looks in the pitch.
