Music, magic
and memories.
A home for the memories of Hemmingway’s, Mamma Kim’s lakeside restaurant and creative space on Koh Phangan: the music, the nights and the people who made it.

Rescued from a tired template.
The old WordPress site was retired. We recovered the original branding from an archived copy, including the fonts, the island-amber palette and Kim’s logo, now presented as a tilted polaroid, and rebuilt it as a fast, simple site with nothing left to maintain.
Every night, in order.
Dozens of films from the restaurant’s own channel are grouped by night on a timeline from 2020 to 2025, each with its date, its running time and the story from its original description. Nothing loads from YouTube until someone presses play, and then only through its privacy-enhanced service. The kitchen is there too, with photographs of the dishes and the Hemmingway’s menu itself.
Built to keep growing.
New films, photographs and stories keep surfacing, so the site is structured to make adding the next night straightforward, without ever changing what’s already there.
- Brand recovery and redesign
- Film archive on a nightly timeline
- Privacy-friendly video playback
- Ongoing curation
Some projects matter more.
Not every website is there to sell something. Some are there to keep something precious safe, and they deserve exactly the same craft.
