Managed website hosting, planned around the site you run
An environment matched to the job
Managed website hosting starts with a proper read of what the site actually needs — traffic pattern, database load, the assets it serves — rather than a default plan sized for nothing in particular. We choose and configure the server, PHP version and caching layer to fit that, and document the setup so it isn't only in one person's head.
HTTPS everywhere, headers doing real work
Every site we host runs HTTPS throughout, with HSTS set so browsers refuse to fall back to an unencrypted connection once they've seen it once — see MDN's Strict-Transport-Security reference. Certificates are issued and renewed automatically through Let's Encrypt, so renewal is never a manual task someone forgets. Security headers and a content security policy sit alongside it, checked against the OWASP Top Ten rather than left at server defaults.
A backup before every change
We take a backup immediately before any deployment, configuration change or code or configuration update — not on a weekly schedule that might miss the thing that just broke. If a change needs reversing, there's always a known-good point to return to, and the person who made the change knows exactly what it was.
Monitoring that watches
Uptime monitoring runs on a regular schedule and alerts on the failures that matter: a dead homepage, of course, but also the pages that depend on a database or a form handler quietly failing while the rest of the site still returns 200. We pair that with periodic performance reviews, because a site that was fast at launch can slow down as content and images accumulate. If you want to know how your current host measures up, run your site through PageSpeed Insights: it’s free, and it’s the same test we hold our own work to. Hosting and development are planned together from the start, so the foundation matches the thing actually running on it. Speed and uptime also feed into how a page performs in search, which is why SEO is planned in from the start too.
